What is Qredo (QRDO)?
Qredo is a decentralized Layer-2 network that aims to improve connectivity between blockchains in order to enable highly secure cross-chain swaps and decentralized digital asset custody.
About Qredo
The Qredo Network calls itself an “institutional-grade clearing and settlement network for digital assets.” Qredo is a consensus driven, trustless, decentralized Multi-Party Computation (MPC) network, which means that it uses cryptography to distribute parts of a key among different nodes.
The three main components of the Qredo Network are: blockchain interoperability, lightning-fast settlement, and secure decentralized custody. Qredo is designed for users and developers seeking to securely transfer digital assets with no clearing and settlement risk, no counterparty risk, and independent governance.
How QRDO Works
QRDO is an ERC-20 governance token compatible with the Ethereum blockchain network, with a supply of 2 billion. QRDO is used as a utility token across the Qredo Network ecosystem.
Holders can stake QRDO as validators on the network, earning returns in exchange. QRDO holders can also vote on governance proposals via the Qredo DAO. QRDO tokens can be earned by network validators and Qredo’s custody users.
QRDO can also be purchased from numerous leading cryptocurrency exchanges.
